Project Learn - School Photos 2026

Jonah and I are so excited to be taking your kiddo’s photos at Project Learn this Fall!
Backdrop & Outfit Tips
We’ll be photographing on a “bone” backdrop — a light tan/cream color — which we hope helps when choosing outfits!
Attire & Grooming
We recommend colors and outfits your child feels confident in. If you want them to wear a jacket in the photo, please communicate with your child ahead of time so they know what you would like.
Please remove wrinkles from clothing before Photo Day.
Hair: Please make sure it’s neat and styled as your child prefers.
Little grooming details really matter: Face, food remnants, eye boogers/nose boogers, teeth, nails — the camera is forgiving, but some things cannot be fixed digitally
Our goal is to photograph all students before lunch to avoid food in teeth or on clothes. :) We have littles! We know!
Photo Day Schedule
We’ll have two photo set-ups and two photographers on campus Wednesday and Thursday. Your student will take their photo, followed by their class photo (M/W will be Wednesday the 4th and T/TH will be Thursday the 5th)
Tuesday, November 10th is a makeup day for any families who had a conflict during photo week. Individual headshots only. We will not be retaking the class photos.
When it’s your child’s turn, they’ll receive a half sheet of paper with their name and a unique QR code. Please don’t lose this!
That QR code is how you’ll access their individual photos. Let your kids know to put it right into their backpack or folder after their photo. Teachers will be able to help with the younger kids.
Photo Packages & Digital Options
In addition to printed packages and fun add-ons, we’re offering a digital-only option for Project Learn families:
$30/student – Includes (2-3) downloadable digital images and the digital of the class photo.
Payment is required before each child’s headshot is taken. We will not make exceptions.
Please send your child with $30 cash in an envelope with their name on it and give it to their teacher.
Sibling Photos: Last year we had a handful of families request a sibling photo. We would love to accommodate. We will work out with the teachers the best time to pop them in. Please note this on your envelope and let your teachers know. This capture will be an additional 1/2 sheet with a specific QR code. If you would like a sibling photo taken it will be an additional $30 per sibling set/grouping.

Your email address (the one provided to Alexis/PL) is connected to your child’s QR code. Once photos are uploaded, you’ll receive an email directly with purchase instructions. I will upload all the class photos to a gallery and will add the button to this page (at the bottom).
We’re using a secure online system to protect student confidentiality and make the process simple for everyone. You will be able to order online like you would for any other purchase... Add to cart and check out! :) Our hope is that every family will be able to make a purchase for their student that fits their needs! We are keeping the packages and fun things and will be adding to the system, as new things from our professional lab have been released in 2026.
Delivery Timeline
Digital photos: All images will be uploaded and available by December 1, 2026.
(I’ll notify Alexis once everything is online so she can send an update to families.)Print packages: Ship directly from our professional print lab. The turnaround time is within one week of ordering.
